El arte del tatuaje

Acerca de los tatuajes existen multitud de posicionamientos y algunos son motivo de controversia. Hoy me atrevo a dar mi opinión al respecto que no deja de ser tal y como digo: una opinión.

Podríamos pensar que es un moda, como tantas otras, pero realmente ya en el Antiguo Egipto utilizaban la técnica del tatuaje y de hecho se cree que su nombre procede del polinesio, de la antigua práctica de hacer tatuajes usando un hueso contra otro en la piel con lo que se escuchaba el sonido "Tau-Tau".

Particularmente por ahora, yo tengo tres y no precisamente por la creencia de la moda o por una creencia antropológica, sino porque desde que comencé a estudiar Historia del Arte, dibujo y pintura, me enseñaron que con cualquier cosa que deje un pigmento y sobre cualquier superficie que lo acepte, eso se consideraría apto para crear una obra de arte. Y ese es mi caso, creo que mi cuerpo puede ser un lienzo, sin caer en los excesos, para tener de por vida aquellos diseños que pueda crear y con los que sentirme cómoda para siempre.

 We might think it's a fad, like so many others, but really already in ancient Egypt they used the tattoo technique and in fact it is believed that its name comes from the Polynesian, from the ancient practice of making tattoos using one bone against another on the skin with what was heard the sound "Tau-Tau".

 Particularly for now, I have three and not just because of the belief of fashion or an anthropological belief, but because since I started studying art history, drawing and painting, I was taught that with anything that leaves a pigment and on any surface that accepts it, that would be considered apt to create a work of art. And that is my case, I believe that my body can be a canvas, without falling into excess, to have for life those designs that I can create and with which I feel comfortable forever.
